Exposing our bodies to a steady barrage of processed foods is a major health concern. 

Long-term consumption of high industrial seed oils, high sugar, low fibre, additives, and pesticides can damage your gut lining and disrupt the natural microbial balance in your gut leading to disease. 

The emerging research links a wide range of health problems to this type of diet. Your best chance at keeping or improving your health is to reset the diet to more plant-based choices avoiding ultra-processed foods. The earlier in life you do this, the better. The childhood period of health development pays big dividends later in life.

I offer general nutrition advice to reposition you and your family for the most optimal health outcomes.

Family Health Reset

  • a virtual or in person visit with you to your kitchen where, together, we will review the typical foods that are in your pantry and refrigerator.

Personal Health Plan

  • Perhaps you want to look more closely at your own diet, a deeper review, with someone to show you how to get from here to there

  • Develop a long term plan to set you on the right path to make incremental changes, resulting in a reset away from processed and ultra-processed foods.

  • Like any coach, I show you how to get the most out of what you already know and fill in the gaps regarding what you don't know.  

  • Successful change takes more than the initial decision to act but needs ongoing cheerleading and guidance. 

  • I have the empathy and nutritional knowledge to walk you through a minor or a major "diet reset" for long-term health benefits starting with your health history. 

  • This intensive support is limited to one new client every two months which allows me the time to invest in you. and to put you on the path to improved eating, but it takes small incremental changes. 

    Email for your interest in this featured nutritional service. For one month you will avail of your own dietitian making weekly visits to your home or virtually. Just like a gardener who tends to your home to keep it healthy, you have your own personal advisor for this time.

Keep things natural!

Knowing that the exposure to chemicals comes from many sources: food, air and what we put on our bodies, here is a little advice to help you find your way:

  • Remove pesticides from food with a fruit and vegetable wash.

  • Make your own sunscreen for children using all-natural shea butter.

  • Try personal care products by Weleda.

  • Replace the commercial candles with real beeswax candles. Honey Candles are a Canadian company in British Columbia.

  • Try pasture-raised meats. In Toronto you can access antibiotic free butchers or go through a local farm, such as Three Forks Farm, find them at Farmers Markets in midtown Toronto and in winter and spring, you'll get regular delivery to Toronto homes.
